This is truly one of the most beautifully produced productions I have ever seen on Broadway. The costumes were remarkably innovative, the music was inspirational, and the performers were exceptionally talented. This is a wonderfully inspiring show that is family friendly, entertaining for "children" of all ages (I'm in my 50s), and a memorable experience of the best of New York. I highly recommend this show--it is well worth the price of admission.

The Lion King is amazing! Within the first few minutes you truly believe you are watching real animals on stage. Major kudos to the costume designers! All of the animals look fantastic but the giraffes are especially fascinating. Make sure you are paying attention for the elephant too! Music is wonderful along with the singing and dancing. Children will be able to follow the story they know. Minimal scary parts for younger kids. Only pleasant surprises. Totally worth the money. Fun for the entire family.

The Lion King far exceeded my expectations. I have been going to Broadway shows for thirty years and this show was number one for the set design and costumes... My children loved the show and I enjoyed the adult jokes that were worked into the story.

Lion king is such a great show. A great way to celebrate an anniversary. Everything was great from the entrance of the building to the exiting of the building. I love that they left very little props to just be props. Scenery and props were people! Amazing!

The play was everything I hoped for and much more!! I will go again to see it in the near future. My daughter grew up watching the movie and she said the play followed the script totally. The music was excellent too!! Everyone that was in the play looked like they were having sooo much fun that it wasn't work for them. That is what I felt watching it. The theater was clean and the sits were comfortable. It was a perfect day!!

Overall...a delight for the senses. The puppets, costumes, lighting, dancing was fantastic. Just tighten up the second act.

btw: Why isn't the large elephant in the final scene. My 8 yr. old grand-daughter leaned over and said " Where's the Mama elephant?"

This even was worth every penny. We took our three children ages 8, 6, and 4. Even the 4 year old was mesmerized. She sat on the edge of chair the whole time. This was a wonderful family event.
