He put so much energy into his performance. This was the day after Michael Jackson passed away and he gave a wonderful tribute to him. I like how Lupe did his new songs as well as his old songs, and even unreleased songs. I loved "Shining Down" and can not wait for the Lasers album!

The show wasawesome. The opening act was great. The fact they could freestyle was totally mind blowing. There are not many rappers who can do such.
Then Lupe took the stage. The energy was high and he offered nothing less than stellar!!!! My brother and I were emotionally high from the evening.

Lupe rapped almost all of his songs from Food and Liquor 2. He stuck to his new album aside from his opening song which was from his Friend of the People mixtape. Lupe's stage presence was great and he engaged the crowd. Every couple of songs he would stop to talk to the crowd and talk about his songs and their background. At the end of this show, he took requests for songs that we wanted to hear. It was very cool.
This wasn't the first time I saw Lupe and he was great again. I recommend everyone see one of his shows.

I had seen lupe fiasco before, and he put on a great show last time I saw him. But this time he flat out sucked. He didn't know any of the words to one of his songs! He wasn't even apologetic about it, he just admitted that he didn't know them even before the song came on. When he did know the lyrics, he didn't sound good. It wasn't soulful, it wasn't melodic, if anything at any point he seemed to be spreading a bit of hate. I would have recommended him in the past, but he has gotten too cocky and now cannot put on a good show. He is also annoyingly political to the point where it seemed more like a rally than a concert.

Lupe was alright. It was a little too hard core rapping for me. I saw him at FireFly and he sung a lot of songs that I knew and loved and was a bit more main stream. But it was still fun. Great venue and fun crowd.

This is one of the best hip-hop shows I saw in a while. Why? The sound was very crispy clear. At no sacrifice of the bass and highs. If you don't know the lyrics you can actually hear what he was saying! (Cept some parts of his rants were at time inaudible). So I guess that's a big up to the Fillmore.

I am a huge Lupe Fiasco fan and was looking forward to finally seeing him live. But I was extremely disappointed because he only performed songs off of F&L2. While I did like that album, I really wanted to hear songs from his first two albums and mixtapes. I left the show feeling betrayed. Its like if youre a huge Linkin Park fan and you go to their concert and they ONLY perform songs from Living Things, you'll ask well what about the other albums? Or if youre a huge Jay Z fan and he performs songs from Blueprint 3. You may appreciate the new songs but you want to hear the songs that made you a fan.

I am an enormous Lupe fan but he only performed Food and Liquor II. I was there to hear his older more popular hits, and was especially disappointed by his apprehension to appease the crowds interests.

Big Sean did a solid 50-minute set, featuring his top hits. I wish he would have done more off his first album, but that just speaks to the number of good songs he has/has been featured on.
Lupe did an hour-plus long set, and was strong as well. I am a bigger fan of Big Sean than Lupe, but Lupe definitely kept me entertained and into his show.
As far as the venue goes, the Palladium has good access, and despite a pretty full crowd, is incredibly roomy. Short lines for bathrooms and bars are always nice!
