Comedian crossed the line

We enjoyed the first 2 comedians, but Jim David crossed the line in a military community. He thanked the servicemen at the front table for their service & then said something like "but I won't thank you for doing nothing in Afghanistan or Iraq. You don't do anything over there " & carried on about his views then essentially said he wouldn't air his views in this setting. I knew he lost my husband at that point so a few minutes later I asked if he wanted to leave and we walked out of the show.

We saw Jim David at the cabaret at Mohegan Sun. There were 2 opening acts before he came onstage who were funny but Jim David was truly hilarious! His delivery is excellent and we were laughing so hard watching him.

Joe Bronzi opened and performed the part of an emcee for the evening. He was a little raspy (jet lagged from traveling), yet performed well. He was funny - needs to work on his timing and thinking on his feet. (Some jokes were told even though they weren't being well received.)

Jim Mendrinos followed Bronzi with a great set! Wow! Great timing and perceptive as to whether the audience was following him. He had me laughing out loud! I will seek him out to see him again.

Jim David wrapped up the evening with a spectacular set. A kind of slow start that developed into a great run to the finish. He definitely knows his material and he engages the audience. (Mendrinos also engaged the audience.) This definitely helps the overall performance.

My husband and I had a great evening. We would drive the hour and half each way for a trio like this one again!
