another amazing concert!
love the music, the lights, with beautiful colors, and cool videos in the background

the opening band "Warpaint" was good and definitely better than the other one the summer in Ponoma.

I was expecting no less, and was not disappointed. Band of Horses is good old rock-n-roll, sooo good!
The show was absolutely amazing! Really liked the opening band as well, Warpaint. The venue was excellent, good acoustics, intimate yet somehow with a big venue feel. Good bar too.

they were amazing. i had never been to Club Nokia but my gf and i loved it. we ended up sitting in the balcony, towards the back (we wanted it to be a little more romantic...and it was!).
id definitely go see them again.

Band of Horses were fantastic, waiting for them to get on stage was not. Warpaint left stage around 8:35 then had to stand around for almost an hour before BOH came on stage. Stage was set up just took too long for them to go on stage.

fantastic venue, terrific sound, friendly crowd. crowd was a bit dim, though... seems people couldn't quite figure out an entire empty section was probably reserved. nonetheless, set selection was wonderful, BOH played songs from all their catalogue, including unreleased "Night Rainbow"!

funny moment when he announced their 'fake last song of the evening' before going off to return for their encore.

Amazing!!! These guys are so good it is unbelievable! they sounded as good as their CD if not better. Great venue and even better performance! A must see!!! Hopefully their new album won't be tooo country... some of the preview songs did not showcase the lead singer's fantastic voice!

This was my first time at Club Nokia and it's a great venue -- very intimate and the sound is great! I sat up on the balcony and any seats in the venue are great seats. You felt very close to the stage (even though we were pretty far away). Band of Horses played a great set (Funeral, Our Swords, Great Salt Lake...) including many others! I loved the rotating still images in the background -- added a great effect and to the music itself. Band of Horses opened with a good set, more upbeat in the beginning to their newer music (more country sounds). Overall, great concert - Band of Horses Rocks!

What a great show!! Cool venue, the opening act "Warpaint" was excellent and BOH sounded fantastic. Even better than at the Fox Theater last month or so ago out in Pomona. They played a lot off of the new (upcoming) cd and I'll look forward to picking that up when it comes out. If you get the chance in the future, dont miss the show. A great night overall!!

Sucked. Probably worse because of the venue, but I still wouldn't want to see them in a smaller, cooler venue either. Good show for someone who thinks they like interesting music, or are exited that they've heard of an "indie" band.

these guys are awesome. great show! love watching bands perform who do it just cuz they love it. and you could see by the smiles on their faces throughout the entire show.

The sound quality at Club Nokia was great. The only complaint was the lag time between the opening act and Band of Horses though. We waited for almost 40 minutes, which seems unusual with setup essentially complete before the opening act played. Band of Horses never ceases to amaze me live. Such great energy!

Band of Horses put on a great show at Club Nokia. The sound was great, and the crowd was really captivated. They played several new songs off their upcoming album, all of which sounded excellent. I will definitely see these guys again in the future.

It's a good thing I have a job because I would have no problem following these guys around the US and watching them perform! I would go as far as saying that they are my favorite band to see live! Show was amazing.. once again!!! The vocals, the set list, and the energy did not disappoint!

Band of Horses at Club Nokia (11/9/09) was a great show. To start, Club Nokia is a good and pretty small venue; if you get there reasonably early, you can get into the floor section and have a great view with plenty of space.

As for the Band, they rocked it. Going in, I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of energy-level because many of their songs are pretty mellow. However, they played loud, well, and energetically, and they also worked in the more mellow songs in a way that kept the crowd going strong. As for the crowd favorites, they definitely turned it up a notch. Finally, the lead singer and drummer were on point and loud. Good stuff. (rest of the band was good, too, but those two stood out.)

...Also, the drummer was wearing something that resembled a unitard. Hilarious.

All around great show. I will definitely see them again, and I recommend you do too.

Ive always like the band, but seeing them live was so amazing. The lighting and background was beautiful. i had butterflies the whole time. It was a great show all around, no dull moment. Everyone around me seemed to enjoy the vibe.
