Favorite moment: Meeting Ben after the show. He was really nice and gracious to everyone and even had a conversation about college with a teenage fan and her mom. @
Setlist: I don't remember everything but they definitely played these (not in order): Downtown, Women & Work, Juniper, It May Be Too Late, Like Lightning, Go Easy, The Last Pale Light in the West, Slow Dancing, Sounds of the City, That Much Farther West, Tears Don't Matter Much @
Opening act(s): J. Roddy Walston and the Business @
This was my first Lucero show, and the boys did not disappoint. The crowd was pretty cool; I talked to some people a bit. Crowd got a little rowdy at the end, I'd say appropriately rowdy given the atmosphere. The band sounds just like they do on the cds, and they're definitely having fun on stage. They played a lot of the latest album (Women & Work at the time of the show) and a good mix of older tunes, including one or two off Ben's solo album. Ben and Brian were hanging around afterwards talking to fans. I'd definitely recommend!
