Fantastic show! Teddy Riley is one of the most talented singer, songwriter producers out there. Absolutely amazing show and a great trip down memory lane of all the Blackstreet music and all the songs Teddy has had a part in whether writing or producing. Would love to see the King of New Jack Swing reunite the groups of yesteryear for an awesome concert.

I had no idea what a talented legend Teddy Riley was until he began showcasing the songs he produced and wrote over the years. BS2, the future of Blackstreet, was phenomenal. And the piéce de résistance, Mr. Dave Hollister. His voice was deliciously soulful.

Can't wait until Teddy returns to touring with Guy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show put on by Teddy Riley, Dave Hollister and Blackstreet (eventhough it wasn't all of the original Blackstreet crew). They were entertaining and kept us engaged. I only have (2) complaints......I wish that the show would have lasted longer and I wanted Teddy to do more of the hits that he did with "Guy" back in "da" day. Those were some of his biggest hits, in my opinion. Overall, it was entertaining and in good taste....no grabbing private body parts, calling women out of their names or degradation of any sort....just good, clean music.

Overall the show was good. I wish I could of heard a few more songs from David Hollister. I will say the sound was very bad.

Great set. Created a memorable performance and stage show. However I wish they did a lot more songs in the catalog of Blackstreet and Dave Hollister. However good show

Teddy Riley is still a great fit to Blackstreet, however if Dave Hollister did not show up I was gonna walk out! As a great song writer/producer I think he could have found better talent to replace the old members

i did not know any of the members whehn they first appeared on stage, other then Teddy Riley of course. They started performing and wasn't bad . Dave Holliseter finally came out and of course the crowd was happy. Dave did his thing. The froup the left the stage after about 20min. Teddy did his own show for about 40min, playing all the songs he wrote/produced. Then black street came back on and song probably two songs and closed with a guy song. After all the talking they did on stage. My friends and I was not impressed, I don't know if they just don't have the enegry but it could have been a lot better. Would not see them again.

I think the fact that best Buy closed off the seating was really CORNY!!! They lucky the tickets were only $35. David Hollister came out to sing them for most song but they didnt do Booti Call. Teddy did a lot of songs he did with Guy or wrote like SWV Human Nature etc but overall it was short. Even when they walked backstage and said goodnight we were like WHAT!!! Like i said $35 it was fine. For more than that I would have been tight.

Very disappointed that he older of member of Blackstreet was not there but boys young enough to be my sons........ And 2 of the 3 couldn't sing. Teddy you could have done better......

The show started on time and 4 members including Teddy Riley started off the show. They sang my favorite Blackstreet song "Don't Leave Me," did "Joy" and a few more before Dave Hollister joined them on "Before I Let You Go." Teddy had a 30 minute solo spot going back to songs he produced for Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Keith Sweat and of course Guy and Wrecks in Effect. I truly enjoyed my self, but I was really really disappointed that Dave did NOT perform any of his solo material, not even "One Woman Man." The show ended with Dave singing lead on "Let's Chill" by Guy. There was no encore, but overall a good show especially for the price. The only 2 original members were Dave and Teddy though.

The Blackstreet concert was good but it would have been better for me if the music that was played before the concert (from 8pm - 9pm) was better. The music seemed old and outdated. I know it was a grown crowd - but a live DJ would have done better than that playlist. He/She would have adapted to the crowd's body language and could have played music accordingly. Also even though it was a Blackstreet concert - they could have let Dave Hollister who is a star sing some of his own music.

All and all is was a good concert but....

Teddy Riley and Blackstreet provided a great show that included a trip down memory lane of their best hits. David Hollister appeared in the show as well and sung with the group. It was good to hear Teddy Riley discuss his musical hits for other artists. I wished that GUY was apart of this show but overall, I truly enjoyed the show! The show started a few minutes after 9 but it was well worth the wait. The venue was not bad, it was standing room only and I am glad I got there early to get a good spot.

This event was an absolute PARTY!! The "new" generation of Blackstreet sounds just as soulful as the original members. Teddy Riley kept the party going playing some of the fan's favorite music that he produced like My Perogative (Bobby Brown). Lastly, you just can't go wrong with Dave Hollister! That boy can sing.
I had a great time and definitely recommend that you check out this concert!

Overall the concert/event was on point. I like Blackstreet but I am a bigger Dave Hollister fan. So when Blackstreet took the stage (approximately 1 hour late) without Dave intially, I started feeling some kind of way. Especially when some of the newer Blackstreet members started to sing his parts. However, Dave showed up & "sang". Speculation is that the delay was for him. Also, I don't know if Dave's tardiness made them alter there set because I was totally expecting Dave to sing at least one of his songs.

The venue? Howard theater is always on point with ambiance & attracting the right crowd according to whomever's performing. Only negative I will say about the Howard Theater is that they need to really think about menu selections again.

Would I recommend this event? I sure would, especially if your fan of 90s R&B/Hip Hop music & Blackstreet.
