All the bands performed really well, I love the Roxy in general and the bands that played just made the experience even better. Honey Honey was probably my overall favorite performance. They were great! Good job by all!

Huntingfield opened the show with an admirable performance. The vocalist had great range and dynamics. Overall with their minimalist rock sound they evoked some great bands of the current era, like Keane, Cold War Kids. Honey Honey was next, with a fantastically adorable, throaty-voiced frontwoman who switched between violin and banjo. Their music was an intriguing mix of world music, country, folk and pop, which the crowd greatly enjoyed. Augustana played for an hour and a half to a capacity crowd in the tiny, legendary Roxy Theatre, giving one of the best musical performances I have had the pleasure to see. They played all the best songs of their two albums as well as some great cover selections from the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Etta James, Muddy Waters. Dan sings with great passion and shares heartfelt reminisces about his family life. Their smiling energy was infectious and they looked good too!

Honey Honey was amazing! I've never seen them live before, but heard a few of their songs on Myspace previous to the show. The girl played banjo & violin = pretty sweet & the horn section rocked! Augustana was most awesome - as ususal - even though the lead singer acted like he was on drugs (even if he wasn't). There was a completely ridiculous amount of time in between sets that almost made me want to leave.

honey, honey was great-really a unique sound.never seen them in concert before this event. this venue was horrible. the roxy is small and was super hot. augustana did not come on until around midnight. there was a delay in between each band of about 45 minutes-i guess this a way to get more drink sales to keep people from losing their minds waiting. huntingfield, honey, honey and augustana did well. better in a different venue

I was expecting more. The opening bands were just okay... nothing special. Then once Augustana was up... I just expected more out of the band. I enjoyed the Boston song but that was really the only one. It's kind of a one hit wonder situation. So I can see why we haven't heard more of them since that song.

I love live music and expected Augustana to hit my favorites, but wow what a show. Covered some classic covers with energy and talent that blew my mind. This band knows how to perform and play to their fans. They had the place rocking, even singing along. Amazing talent and among the best live performances I've seen - which is saying a lot b/c I was among the oldest in room. Loved it!

This was one of the best concerts I have been to in awhile. I loved how intimate the band was with the crowd. At the end they even came into the crowd and played a song. That was the first time I have seen a band do something like that. I had a great time!!!!!

The concert was set at the amazing Varsity Theater and the atmosphere was filled with excitment and everyone was so happy to be there. The guys put on an amazing show even though the lead singer was sick with the flu.

the concert was very good although the lead singer was a little altered..he said he had the flu and some of his actions on stage were distracting. however, his combined talent in voice and lyrics joined with music was surreal and the band's improv version of dylan's "just like a woman" was completely memorable, along with all their own best songs.

the concert was short and that was disappointing, but overall, it was a great musical experience and look forward to seeing augustana in the future.

Opening act(s): Jon Rodriguez, not sure on spelling, he was fun. A lot of fun. His co-singer, female vocal back-up took away from him, he would be better alone. His rendition of "Single Ladies" is absolutely amazing, he should record it!!! @

I had an absolutely amazing time at the Augustana concert. They were awesome, talented performers and it was purely a joy to see. The only negative was the dip crap sitting next to me talking. I will seek them out and will never miss a show in my town again!!!

We were introduced to Augustana when they toured with Counting Crows last year. We saw them last September in St Louis and they were just as good this time. They played a couple of cover songs and I would have rather heard them play a couple more of their songs. So many good ones they have they didnt have time for. Again just a wonderful concert.

It was a fun show. The entertainment level was higher than expected. They even closed it off by grabbing their guitars and starting a sing along with the crowd in the general admission section. Well worth it!
